This Exquisite Italian marquetry of an Instrumental pattern with tiny subtle flowers framed with a filleto and Walnut border adorns the lid of this fifty note matte finished burled elm musical box. Though we import this from Bohme in Germany, this Bombay shaped cabinet is manufactured in Italy.
This cabinet is available playing selections from "The Nutcracker Suite" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky or Phantom of the Opera selections by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Either will be a cherished gift and an heirloom in the years to come. They measure 9.5" side to side x 5.75" back to front and stands 2.75" on upscale brass feet. The music is activated by a decorative Lyre-like brass button that slides to the right. Left in that position the music will continue to play until it dies down. If moved to the right and back immediately to the left, The music will play until the end of the melody that started and stop.
